Embudhoo Kandu
A protected marine area, the Embudhoo has really strong currents. It’s a great place to spot eagle rays and napoleons. The southern point of the channel is known as the Shark Point due to a large number of grey reef sharks that gather here.
Guraidhoo Kandu
Yet another protected area, Guraidhoo Kandu contains several spots to explore. There many overhangs and a colourful reef which one can explore as it is good with both ingoing and outgoing currents. Kadooma Caves
Considered to be one of the best dive sites in the Maldives, the Kandoom Caves is a hit with many tourists who come to the archipelago on diving expeditions. The caves are home to giant moray eels, tube corals, sea fans and sponges among a host of other marine life.
Kuda Giri Wreck
Ideal for beginners or for night dives, the Kuda Giri Wreck has a maximum diving depth of around 40m and has an average visibility of 10-20 meters. The ship exterior is covered with algae, corals, sponges and many types of reef fish.
