Looking for a new kind of thrill when enjoying water sports in Maldives? If so, then flyboarding is perfect and here’s more on this activity you should experience on a holiday.
What it Entails
For this water sport, one’s feet will be secularly strapped to a flyboard (like a wakeboard) that has two jet nozzles on the bottom; it is also linked by a long hose to a jet-ski or similar watercraft and the person manning it can use the throttle to provide the needed lift to sending you soaring safely above!
Choosing a Resort
Keep in mind that while staying at luxury Maldives resorts is an ideal choice, not all will offer this water sport. Consider properties such as Heritance Aarah that not only have flyboarding and the needed training for newbies but premium all-inclusive packages so you can also enjoy the best of this tropical paradise.
The Experience
Resorts will have trained instructors on hand so you can get the hang of it quickly and of course, this includes providing the needed safety equipment too. Flyboarding can take you to heights of over 40 feet while those used to it, can enjoy spinning around and even diving into the water before shooting back up in the air!
More Water Sports
Apart from flyboarding in Maladies, there are plenty more water sports to try including parasailing that takes you to greater heights! Those based at resorts in the Raa Atoll can enjoy unforgettable marine life encounters when diving and snorkelling, while jet-skiing, water-skiing, windsurfing and kitesurfing are on offer too.
