Excited about diving for the first time? Yes, you should definitely be excited because there is so much you can discover underwater. It’s almost similar to walking on the moon and unravelling a whole new universe.
Sunshine…you need it!
Even if you are relaxing in a Maldives beach villa, good weather is still welcome! Make sure the weather is bright and that the waters aren’t too rough for your training. Sometimes waves can make it a harder to find immersion points and can also create underwater currents. If you are staying at Finolhu Maldives inquire about the availability of experts for training and stick to their instructions.
Leave no question unanswered
If you have any doubts about how the process goes, it is best to ask your instructor once more. Remember, you cannot communicate underwater, so you must clear what you find hazy before your dive.
Breathe
Whether you are on land or underwater, it makes no difference, you need to breathe to survive. So, remember to breathe normally and try not to let nerves get to you.
Don’t touch
Think of the ocean as a museum where you can view but not touch. The rule once you are under the water is not to touch anything no matter how interesting they may be. You never know if its fish or coral or how harmful they are.
