If you have already made plans to spend 2 weeks in the Maldives with your family, friends, or alone, here are some of the things that you should not miss out on. Collect beautiful memories as much as possible.
Start with Male
Allocate 1-2 days to explore the capital island, Male. Visit the National Museum and the fish market in Male when you are there.
Head to your resort
Ask your chosen Maldives Pool Villa if they offer airport pick-up facilities from Male. Properties such as Niyama Maldives usually do, so you don’t need to worry about arranging ways of transport. If they don’t, avoid opting for seaplanes because that’s very expensive. Speed boats will be a better option.
Make time for adventures
Since you have more time, make sure you try out all the water adventures you need to try when you are there. The Maldives is perfect not just for diving and snorkelling. It’s equally great for surfing, kayaking, and many other adventures.
Go island hopping
Do not miss out on heading to a local island and mingle with the locals. Explore how their lifestyles have been formed and enjoy their hospitality as well.
