Malé
The country’s capital, Malé, is home to many of the key attractions in Maldives. Hulhumalé Island
Another inhabited island you can plan an excursion to, Hulhumalé features a white sand beach, an ideal place to enjoy a magical sunset. While on the island you can also relax at the Hulhumalé Central Park, visit the local market and take in the striking design of the mosque with its golden dome.
Thulusdhoo Island
Within easy reach of Malé, Thulusdhoo Island is particularly popular amongst surfers since they can easily access surfing hotspots the likes of Cokes, Chickens and Ninjas from here. Other things to do on Thulusdhoo include embarking on dolphin watching excursions and diving at the Thulusdhoo Channel.
Banana Reef
In the Maldives, not all places for sightseeing are on land! There are plenty of spectacular reefs here of which Banana Reef is a prime example. On your exploration expect to see colourful coral and diverse marine species be it bannerfish, groupers, barracudas, oriental sweetlips, sharks or manta rays too.
